Designed by celebrated architects Dixon-Jones, Kings Place in York Way, Kings Cross, North London brings together under one roof a creative hub, a dining venue, a conference and events centre, and office complex.

mga have been involved in the negotiation of Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters for Kings Place.

One of the most distinctive design features of the building is the three-layered undulating glass façade covering the west-facing York Way frontage. This is a free-standing transparent surface made up of hundreds of very slightly curved sheets of glass, produced in a factory near Venice

Kings Place canal view From the beginning, Kings Place was conceived as a building with excellent environmental credentials. The aim was to make a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions relative to other office buildings, whilst maintaining an excellent working environment for people in the space.

Kings Place will generate half the CO2 emissions of a similar size office building - a reduction equivalent to 1,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
